Group 1 — Ordering
Do I need an appointment?
For made-to-order pieces, yes. Ready-to-wear you can buy from the site. Fittings are by appointment so that whoever meets you has the time to sit down properly.
Some pieces have no price. Why?
Those are made to order, and the cost depends on the cloth, the embroidery and the finish. Tell us the piece and the occasion and we will come back with a figure and a timeline in writing.
How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Upto 12 weeks from first measurement to finished piece. We confirm a date before we begin, and if we cannot finish properly in the time you have, we say so before you pay.
Can you work to a date?
Sometimes. Tell us the date first rather than last — it is the thing that decides whether we can take the order at all.
Group 2 — Fit and measurements
Can any piece be cut to my measurements?
Yes, at no additional cost. Either come to the atelier, or enter your own measurements when you order and we will confirm them with you before anything is cut.
How many measurements do you take?
Forty, at a fitting. If you are entering your own, we ask for the ones that matter for the piece and confirm the rest with you.
What if it does not fit?
Bring it back. Alterations on our own work are free, for as long as the piece is yours.
I am between two sizes.
Take the larger. A piece can be taken in; it cannot be let out past its seam allowance. Or have it cut to measure and the question does not arise.
Group 3 — Delivery and returns
How long does delivery take?
Ready-to-wear is dispatched within two working days. Delhi NCR in 1 to 2 days, rest of India 3 to 6, international 7 to 14.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Duties and taxes at the destination are payable by the recipient and are set by your government, not by us.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-to-wear, within 7 days, unworn and with tags. Made-to-order pieces are cut for one person and cannot be returned once cutting begins — though alterations are always free.
Something arrived damaged.
Tell us within 7 days with photographs and we will repair, replace or refund it. That applies to made-to-order pieces too.
Group 4 — The work
Is the embroidery done by hand?
Yes. Nothing here is printed or machine-embroidered. Every motif is drawn at full size before a single stitch is made.
How long does the embroidery take?
It is counted in hours rather than days. A single panel can hold two thousand before it becomes a sleeve.
Two pieces look slightly different.
They will. Work made by hand varies, and small differences between a piece and its photograph are inherent to it rather than faults.
Do you repair older pieces?
Anything made by this house, whenever you bring it back. Send a photograph on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is involved.
Group 5 — The atelier
Where are you?
D-49, Third Floor, Defence Colony, New Delhi 110024. Monday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm, by appointment.
Do you travel for fittings?
Within Delhi NCR, yes. Elsewhere, ask.
How do I reach you fastest?

Notes
Every answer is short on purpose. An FAQ that runs to paragraphs is a policy page in disguise. Where the full answer is longer, the detail already lives in the policies - link to them from the answer if the editor allows inline links in the block content.
Group 1 does the commercial work. "Some pieces have no price. Why?" is the single most common question your site will generate, and answering it in the customer's words is better than leaving them to guess.
